Worship
I can safely say, on the authority of all that is revealed in the Word of God, that any man or woman on this earth who is bored and turned off by worship is not ready for heaven. ( A.W. Tozer, Whatever Happened to Worship? 13)
how did i know the comment would be from you... i dont pretend to know the definitive answer on this one and i welcome your arguments or opinions but i think that worship is anyway in which you show adoration for God. i think that our church society has become very focused on musical worship that we become 'bored' or disinterested in worship in other forms. however knowing the generation Tozer lived in, i think he was refering to worship in a holisitic sense. that any man growing bored with adoration of God wasnt ready for a life after death full of it.
I am in year 2 of life married to my favorite person in all the world. I spend my days admining-it-up in Marketing. I am a part of the Body of Christ, our little section of the Body is passionately pursuing authentic community and a barbarian sort of love for those in our world. I love being a part of that process! I enjoy reading and running and watching LOST with my hubby. I have an addiction to Starbucks and sitting in over stuffed, green velvet chairs with my girls.
