It's been a while...

... in fact it's been so long that I forgot my password - whoops! Life just seems to slip away from you sometimes. Here's the update though - life as an engaged woman is FANTASTIC! Actually being engaged to Matt is fantastic, life itself, continues to have its ups and downs. Noni and I (and Janice) have moved out of the house into a freaking mansion. Thats right - I have a pool now! We are pseudo- house sitting for an indefinete period of time and all are friends and family are reaping the benifits of our pool and HD Wide screen. However the downside of all this is that Rick and Martha are really gone and that makes me sad! They will be missed (once I stop fighting with the pool vacuum) and we are praying for a fast sell of the house regardless of the joys it brings us!!
I had a wicked girls weekend in S-land that just kicked off the summer in style. Dancing, getting Sarah tipsy (or "hyper"), eating and bed vaulting - Party on wayne!!
I have started my new job which is also full of its ups and downs!! Working for the church is rewarding and yet eye opening ... so we'll leave it at that!
Since everybody else seemed to blog about our great weekend at the Point last weekend I might as well comment that my family ROCKS, we built the best sand castle, ate my aunts fantastic cooking and played Betsy's grade 6 games that we actually quite fun. Carly - you were much missed and we are all looking forward to seeing you soon!!
And now I am anticipating the wedding of the summer - early congrats to Scott and Cheryl!! I am so excited to see you tie the knot. (also to see Danielle in a dress). Seriously though - the Janzen's are my second family and not only am I so proud of Scott and Cheryl but I think they deserve this soooo much and ITS ABOUT FREAKING TIME!!!
There's the quick update and here's the countdown - 5 months & 7 days!!! I will try to blog more now!!
